The full amount of booked services that is less than US$250 per person must be paid in cash of United State dollars (US$) on the first day the tour is commenced or on the spot when air ticket or hotel voucher is handed over.

Deposit: The total amount of reserved services is not exceed US$250 per person, there is no deposition required upon confirmation of the tour or services booked. But we need to get the deposit of 30% on all collective services and tours that exceed US$250 per person. Once you have booked and paid your deposit, we will reserve your requested service based on terms and conditions mentioned separately.

Unlike in the many other countries, we still have some difficulties to accept the payment by credit cards, cheques, bank remittance and wire transfer in terms of security, higher bank commissions and some other obstacles, which eventually conclude to cause the booking-maker expensive. Since, we want our customers to be freed from hassles, risks & unnecessary exertions; we will insert our extra efforts to take these into our account, though we have penalty fees for cancellation or no-show for any type of flight or hotel bookings. To our most allowable extent, we would not ask for the deposit if the total amount of reserved services is not exceed US$250 per person. Once, we issue you the confirmation for your booking, it is surely consolidated but you are responsible to acknowledge us for date/route/program changes or cancellation!
Because, we have to secure your reservation with hotels, airlines and other travel related services by guaranteeing that you will definitely show up. Most hotels as well as Yangon Airways & Air Mandalay have a 14 days notice of cancellation policy for groups and FITs and individuals. In this case, your deposit will not be refunded, or we will have to bill you the full amount if airlines or hotels come to charge this from Santa Maria Travels & Tours Co., Ltd.
